West Valley’s men won their fifth title of the last decade by defeating perennial favorite Golden West in the title game, 12-8. On the women’s side #1 Riverside capped an undefeated season with a 12-4 victory over American River in the final. In the third place games Santa Rosa upset Cuesta, 6-4, and defending State Champion Long Beach crushed Santa Rosa, 12-3, on the women’s side.

November 16 Results
The top two seeds, Golden West and West Valley advanced to Sunday’s title game to continue the battle for the State. The Rustlers have won 19 State Title, the most of any program, but West Valley has won five titles in the last decade. The two teams have already played two great games this year, both won by Golden West, but Sunday will be the final decider. The third place game is set with the #2-seed from each region squaring off. Cuesta will represent the South and Santa Rosa the North. The two teams met on the first day last year with Cuesta winning and eventually taking third place.
