RULES OF PLAY AND RULES OF CONDUCT

Golf Association. Local Rules will be given to the players by the
starters at each tee as well as hole location sheets and their scorecards.
NOTE: The advice rule (Rule 8-1) DOES NOT pertain
to coaches. However, there can only be one designated coach per
team and individual that can give advice and he may do so only if
he does not interfere with any other player in the tournament. Coaches
identified to give advice are restricted from the putting surfaces
and all hazards during the stipulated round.
B. The California Community College Code and
Golf Supplement will govern the conduct of the players and coaches
during the day of the tournament. Coaches are responsible for knowing
these rules. Violation of these rules usually results in disqualification
of the offending party. John Perkins will head the committee handling
protests in this area and will work with the NCGA.
