• 2006-07 CCCPE Goals:
  -Continue to raise funds to promote California Community College Physical Education so we can identify and support or oppose new legislation in the California legislature where we continue to be misunderstood and singled out for poor legislation
  -Continue to improve our membership so we can become a larger voice in the governance of the State
  -Submit a revision recommending changes in the Disciplines List for Minimum Qualifications for faculty hired in Physical Education
  -Create opportunities to hold meetings and workshops addressing critical issues in physical education
  
  
• Solicitation for State Committee
  On behalf of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and the California State Board of Education, the Curriculum Development and Supplemental Materials Commission is seeking experts in physical education to serve on the Physical Education Curriculum Framework and Criteria Committee (CFCC). This committee will assist in the creation of a draft Physical Education Framework for California Schools: Kindergarten Through Grade Twelve.
