KAREN WELLIVER NOW WINNINGEST COACH IN HISTORY
With their 54-51 South Coast Conference overtime home win over El Camino College on Wednesday night, Cerritos College women's basketball coach Karen Welliver has now placed her name atop the list of most career wins in California Community College Women's Basketball history. Now in her 27th season, Welliver now has 564 career wins, pushing her past Tom Martinez, who posted 563 wins at San Mateo College. The team is now 13-11 overall this season and 2-0 in South Divisional play.
