MT. SAC WINS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TITLE; WILL PLAY AT NORTH CHAMPION SAN MATEO SATURDAY AT NOON (DEC. 12) FOR STATE CROWN
Mt. San Antonio College defeated visiting Palomar College of San Marcos, 27-2, Saturday in Walnut to advance to the California Community College Athletic Association state championship game at Northern California champion College of San Mateo (10-1) on Dec. 12 at noon.
The top seeds in each region wound-up with their respective crowns, setting up a classic state finale. Mt. SAC (12-1) is top ranked in the state and CSM is No. 2, according to the JC Athletic Bureau’s official California Community College Football Coaches Association poll.
